Your Housing Group have a fabulous opportunity for a Retirement Living Scheme (RLS) Site Officer based at Ryfield Village Scheme, Warrington (WA2 7GB).

As an RLS Site Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a building maintenance and general handyperson services, carrying out basic repairs and maintenance as well as health and safety inspections, waste management, maintenance of the fire alarm, CCTV and door entry system and escalating fault reports to contractors.

it’s a given you will have previous experience of delivering a building maintenance and general handyperson activity.  As the RLS Site Officer, you will be passionate about supporting the elderly and use your excellent communication skills when liaising with colleagues, customers and contractors.

As an RLS Site Officer, you will have experience of working alone and organising your own workload and you will have previous experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and internet browsers.  Ideally, you will have knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy/housing management.

(IF APPLICABLE) This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.  Therefore, a DBS ENHANCED check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
