Are you looking to utilise your horticultural skills, working in a varied role as part of a supportive team?
Your Housing Group has an exciting opportunity as a Grounds Maintenance Operative based out of our St Helens depot, supporting the Group’s Merseyside DSO (Direct Service Organisation) on a fixed term contract until the end of October 2019.

During the summer season, you’ll work Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm, keeping your weekends free to spend time with your family and friends. In addition to our competitive salary, you will receive a Health Cash Plan scheme and other excellent rewards e.g. discounted gym membership and cinema tickets!

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, working as part of a small, supportive team, using your previous experience to deliver grounds maintenance, landscaping and environmental services to the Group’s customers, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and customer care - whatever the British weather brings!

Ideally, you will….

  1. Be a strong team player with solid communication skills.
  2. Demonstrate using your initiative.
  3. Be certified to use of a range of associated tools and equipment.
  4. Hold a full valid driving licence with trailer entitlement (desirable)
