So…. What is this role exactly?

This is an exciting opportunity for a ASB Team Leader within our ASB Service covering one or two regions: North (Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Yorkshire) or South (Liverpool, Warrington and Staffordshire).

Each ASB Team Leader will manage a dedicated team of 7 ASB Officers responsible for the supervision of the anti-social behaviour (ASB) service ensuring that ASB incidents are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner in accordance with our policy and procedures, providing high quality advice and guidance.

What will my working week look like? 

You will live within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington to attend meetings and training courses.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will take a lead in delivering and developing the ASB service across YHG and working with your team to deliver a seamless ASB service that supports victims and perpetrators to change behaviours.

Line manage, direct and coordinate, monitor and supervise day to day activities of the ASB Legal Officers to ensure an efficient, effective and proactive service with an emphasis on delivering excellent service to our customers.

To be a successful as ASB Team Leader, here at YHG, you will be a confident, dynamic, driven and supportive team leader with a background in ASB and civil legal proceeding.  You will find appropriate resolutions when handling conflict or difficult issues and provide excellent communication and customer service.

As well as the ability to discuss and negotiate with colleagues and partner agencies and resolve differences of opinion.

You will also have a prior knowledge of housing law, and processing Neighbourhood Management issues.
