Your Housing Group have a fabulous opportunity for a Retirement Living Scheme (RLS) Officer based at Heyeswood, Haydock, St Helens (WA11 0XQ).

As the RLS Officer, you’ll ensure customer excellence is achieved, Scheme performance is maximised, ensuring we meet the requirements of contracted services and service standards set by Supporting People, CQC (Care Quality Commission).

You’ll enjoy working with members of the public, particularly older people, whilst supporting your colleagues to ensure empty properties are swiftly re-let, promptly undertaking lettings and property allocations. 

As our RLS Officer, you’ll naturally excel working in a specialist, high performing team, achieving targets and working to deliver outstanding services and customer support.

It’s a given you’ll be self-motivated, enjoy working alone, interacting with Older People, whilst managing your workload with excellent attention to detail.  

As the scheme is staffed 24 hours a day, in partnership with HICA Care Team, you will be working 21 hours each week (9am-5pm) Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

If you have…..

  • a good knowledge of housing legislation in relation to tenancy/housing management
  • excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop good working relationships with customers, colleague and partners
  • good administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise your busy workload
  • excellent IT skills with a solid understanding of using Microsoft (eg word, Excel & ideally familiar with Orchard & Documotive but not essential),
  • a flexible approach to working at other locations if needed

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.  Therefore, a DBS BASIC check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
